Hi,
George,
Yes!
I definitely love the album...and can use at least two for this show...suddenly
out of the blue I've been asked to at least consider a general indie show as
well, and if that goes through, can use quite a few others...
Your
CD was a refreshing change from some of the stuff I've been getting...Ya gotta
love 'em and feel for 'em...
Also,
my Christmas show can use those songs...so all in all your album will be busy on
Miz B's Porch...
YEEEEHAAA!

Review By Kathy Cappetta
"Something That Is Deep Inside" By George Finizio, featuring John
Jorenson and Gary Frisbie
The project "Something That Is Deep Inside"
clearly displays the experience and abilities of the artists to please an
audience. The versatility of style and performance show the quality of
workmanship in each man’s craft.
The excellent guitar work and instrumentation
together with the vocal harmonies and George’s honesty in delivery of
the lead vocals make this project a success that deserves to be heard.
There is something for everyone to identify with in this collection of
tracks. Given an honest listen, the audience is drawn into the music, a
true delight!
I had the pleasure of attending a live performance
and experiencing first hand the quality and integrity George gives of
freely to his audience. There is nothing "canned" about the man
and his musical talent. His shows are a treat, that essence is captured in
the CD. I am honored to give "Something That Is Deep Inside" a
place in my personal library.
Many thanks and much appreciation to Kathy Cappetta. We have been tremendously
honored by her wonderful support!

Kathryn Hoffman-Baley (Excerpts)
CD: Something Is That Deep Inside
Artist: George Finizio
…………… George Finizio's brilliant release,
SOMETHING
THAT IS DEEP INSIDE, can only be described as a
"CD-scape".
A poetic portrait that is painted in earthen hues awash with rhythm
and
ebbing tides.
George with fellow artists, Gary Frisbie and John
Jorgenson , created an original masterpiece of timeless importance that is
best viewed in the subdued lighting of a candlelit room and savored with
the subtle ambiance of a fine wine. SOMETHING THAT IS DEEP INSIDE seduces
the mind with playful melody, harmonic heraldry, and articulate
arrangements that these three magi wove to tantalize an audience eager for
something more stimulating than the meat market music catering to a MTV
mentality. This CD captures the essence of music by incorporating a
calliope of musical style and a kaleidoscope of texture that ever changes
with each listening…………………
From the enchantress who is, "Bella Donna", to the
maestro known as, "The Professor of the Blues", SOMETHING THAT
IS DEEP INSIDE rescues the listener from the depths of musical mediocrity
with more than mere melody. It adorns the listener in a musical decoupage
that is complexly simple, and tastefully ornate. Perhaps the freshest
breaths of all are the two Christmas ballads that decorate this CD…………………
SOMETHING THAT IS DEEP INSIDE resonates from that place that
many
have visited, but few have truly seen. It is a musical adventure
that
provides safe passage only if one steps into the tracks and not over them.
Its truest treasures exist deep within the craftsmanship of each of
its
thirteen songs where the path is less charted, the waters more
turbulent,
and the beauty is the most spectacular. SOMETHING THAT IS DEEP
INSIDE
is not a carnival cruise. It is a caravan for those who dare
journey into
the core, that is the center of the soul and the creator of the
conscious
mind.
Many
thanks
to Kathryn Hoffman-Baley for the WONDERFUL review of the CD.
She
has a marvelous style of writing. Everyone at MajesticSound Recordings is greatly
honored
and most appreciative of both her AND her magical way with
words
in her reviews.
